The Belvedere Information Session - a Great Success!
On Wednesday, October 17th, Belvedere held an Information Session for more than 70 prospective homebuyers. Among those in attendance was Bob Hauser, founder and chief executive officer for Stonehaus, whose opening remarks eloquently described Belvedere’s mission, and gave thanks to those present.
“This is an important moment,” Hauser said. “After years of work designing this community, considering how we could create value and enhance lives, and imagining who would actually share these values, it is an honor to meet you, and be affirmed that the Belvedere neighborhood is generating real interest.”
Chris Schooley, Director of Land Development, was also appreciative of the work that went into making Belvedere a reality.
“When we started to design this community,” said Schooley, “Bob [Hauser] charged the team with designing a neighborhood that not only looked great, but actually functioned to get kids off the couch…He has helped us to realize early on that we had to go beyond designing pedestrian communities with perfectly detailed sidewalks, to actually designing destinations to walk to, and reasons to walk somewhere.”
The staff of Stonehaus - along with Belvedere homebuilders, Hauser Homes and Church Hill Homes - were available to answer questions, and also presented a preview of Belvedere’s residential floorplans.
In addition, Stonehaus catered the event with a variety of organic wines and hors doeuvres, made with organically grown ingredients. Guests were given a fashionable and reusable grocery bag and a Belvedere T-shirt. At the conclusion of the evening, there was a raffle for tickets to the Stonehaus/Belvedere 20th Annual Virginia Film Festival Gala.
